Toddler Classroom
Westminster offers a two day Toddler Class for children who turn one year old on or before March 31st of the year they will be attending. All children must be 18 months by September entering the program. The children will begin to gain confidence in separating from their parents or caregivers, will enjoy interacting with their teachers and classmates, and begin to develop friendships. Two teachers will work with eight students in the classroom. Though not highly structured, this is a true class with a curriculum. Art, as well as other exploratory activities, will be offered. The children will enjoy songs, stories, fingerplays, developmentally appropriate games, and outside play.
